From Exchange gift!

AS family tradition every christmas, we always has this dice throwing when changing our gifts. The first throw will let you chose a gift in the middle where all the gifts were placed. Then when every one got a gift, we have to open it what's inside the package. After all is revealed..we through the dice again and those who got 6 can chose the gifts from everyone and change her or his gifts and the dice roll until 15minutes will be over.



This white box with nice stuff inside which suppose I like so much is my first picked but then it was taken again when the dice start rolling and I ended up with something else. Sad, but it was fun! Since that water jar is my favorite orange ..linking this to Orange Tuesdays and White box and white towels for Wednesday White! Have a great day!

Storms almost blow us away!

I was so afraid this morning when I drop my older daughter to school. The storm and winds, was so strong that we could hardly walk and it was raining so much also. I was tempted not to pursue but rather go back home. But my daughter want to go to school. So we continued.

When we were in the gate of their school, As I open the steel gate with one hand and one hand holding my baby stroller, the wind blew so strong and so I let go the gate and hold my two hands on the stroller instead, but the winds blew hard away the steel gate that almost hit my older daughter who was standing near the gate! That was so fast and I was trembling on what just happened tha moment!

Still, God again showed his protection to us. My daughter just raised her other foot away when I shouted then the gate slipped out from her. Otherwise she will be drive away by the gate and I could not imagine whats gonna happen! Thank you Lord for the protection and keeping us safe under the storms!

Snow and hale finally!

This post suppose last tuesday when the first snow here in my place finally came at around 10 o'clock in the evening!

We were wondering why it was so cold that night before the snow came and now they're here. Yesterday it was raining hale also. It was painful in the head and skin if you have no umbrella to protect you and if you are under the rain! Good I was in the car when it happened. Yes, there's a tik tok sounds in the car:) Well, its time again and we must live with it! Hope we will have a white christmas though;)

Renewing ID card not easy!

I've been little tired after I going through today! I wake up early because its my little one's first dental check-up! They have to check her few teeths. Up to date she only have 7teeths but still the dentist said its time to start brushing her teeth. I was told or informed what to do and not to do in order that she will have a good teeth as she grow.

After there, I went to the bank to renew my 2 months expired ID card but then they have no picture machine, We need to bring our own picture and so I went to post office because they have taht kind of machine. But the problem there is they don't recieve money for payment, we have to go to our bank and pay first then bring the receipt to them. I was like going back and forth and I was irritated, it was so uncomfortable with baby with me and the kind of weather, not so fun! Then I was also catching up my time since my eldest need to be picked up 2:00 o'clock from school.

Went home tired and hungry! But atleast I have done something important today!

Pink "girls" in Colleseum!

The day we visited colleseum, we were really so lucky to have a bright sunny weather. And so the feeling was so summer that was shown obviously in our clothes!

Me and my aunt have pink summer blouses on us, mine actually light and my aunt's wasv really fuschia pink! It radiate our faces that makes us ten years younger looking, hahaha! Anyway, the place really was so old and amazing! Imagine it was built BC and until now though many are broken but still there standing tall!

Home Again!

After four days of adventure from a fantastic place Rome, Italy I am now home again with my family. It was really a great unwinding for myself. We had fun but then I 'm a little sad when I came home when my girl's have colds and sick. Plus the weather so boring specially when you just came from a nice weather!

Anyway, life must go on..and yes must face the reality! Start doing again back what is usual. Our weather are getting colder and colder therefore, its not so strange that kids will get colds and even we adults! It's gonna be a cold long winter ! Good day to all!

Filipino Beef Steak!

New big Plasma TV is home!

It's been a while we were planning to buy a new tv since what we have is already old. We started looking for a few weeks now and finally last week we found the one I want. A 50inches Plasma flat tv. But because of the price and the budget we have, we took our time to talk about it and then finally on thursday, when we viisted the store again and the said tv still there, we finally bought it with agreat deal fitted to our economic budget!

But because its so big to fit in our car, my husband decided to pick it up the next day friday so he can have time to ask a friend who has bigger car and also so he has helped to bring it home. Finally this afternoon the tv is home but not installed yet. We want it hang in the wall so hubby ordered a holder first. We also have to change the arrangement of the house! Am so excited when it will already be put up! I thank God for this another blessings! Happy weekend!

Autumn is Here!

This morning when we went to school to drop my little student, she noticed that trees already changing it's color and the leaves keeps falling. She asked; Is it autumn already?, she's still four so I asked back, why you asked? she answered articulately, because, look! the leaves are keeps falling on the ground and the trees has different colors now, there's red, pink, yellow and brown! I'm so proud knowing she already understand the different seasons. I mean she even continued.. soon it will be winter and I can ride my sled again;) While she was talking, her voice was like music in my ears!

Yes, autumn is here, and while other people already starts also changing attitudes, my little girl has a positive outlook in her sorroundings! All she saw is color and beauty and she even longs for the winter! Today, I am blessed on how to see things positively! Have a great day!

Bad News!

It's so typical when bad things happened, more keeps on coming that can really put us down. We have been in bad situation these past months that only we, family keep it to ourselves, I mean trying to keep it! In obvious situation, its so devastating and hard for us. By these, we still continue to move on and try to look the brighter side everyday.

But then last week my thursday, my mother buzz me on messenger informing us that my grandmother was hit by the motorcycle and was ran to the hospital. She had pain on the feet and head. The driver is just a mere worker of one of the restaurant in our place and is also economically hard up, but he promised to help with the hospitalization but then still almost 10,000 pesos were down.

We are thankful though that it was not so serious and my grandma already home now. I just want to rebuke all these misfortune that are disturbing to our family, in Jesus name!! I know these things would make us stronger, all I am praying for all of us to just keep holding on knowing after the rain there is a great sunshine! Godbless!

Winter Hat!

It's getting colder and colder everyday, the breeze of winter is already in the air. By this, its time again to take out winter clothes or warm attire. My baby looks good and safe on her white winter hat..it was Angelikka's before but its already small so it fits the youngest now;)

She looks so adorable hehe and we call her beary dear:) Connecting this to Wednesday White! Have a great middle of the way everyone!

Good muffins!

We have a great day today even if it rains and the weather was not that good this morning! Since we have Angelikka's dental check up today, Our day became active at least we have something to do. I am happy with the result on her teeth and even on how she behave this time! She was no longer afraid of the doctor;)

So after we were finished there, we went directly to my friend Shy since today is Camilla, her little one's 7th month and she do muffins for us to share with. It was her first time to do it but it turned out so good. What a lovely day!

Attending Birthday Party!

Today, we attended another child's party. It's our nephew, my husband's sister's son. He is so adorable. He is two weeks younger than my little Erika but then he is way bigger maybe because he's full swedes and a boy not like Erika is half asian and a girl! We had fun since Erika started walking already around the place with the presence of her relatives. Grandfather, aunts and great grandmother. We enjoyed the food and the company as well!

Enrolling again!

It's been a year and half since I last went to school since I get pregnant and of course taking care of the baby. But next semester, by January I plan to go back to school already, I think its about time!

But then, I was worried this week thinking today will be the last day of enrollment. I can't easily do things like going to school to enroll while I have two small kids with me! But good thing I have friends who are so willing to help. So, yesterday, Jenny accompanied me and helping me with kids and enrolling my subjects since I already forgot how it was done! We finished enrolling my subjects in just an hour then we went strolling to the city afterwards! It was a great useful day because I had one important matter done! All I have to do is to wait if I got a place for school this coming school opening.

Thank God It's Friday everyone!

Erika's quarterly check up!

Last friday, became a long day for me. We went to the doctor for my youngest Erika's check up! Our schedule was for me so early because it was in the morning . I was so happy everything went fine. My baby is so healthy and growing good. And even her alleged allergy seems to be gone already. We will do a new check up for it next week.

So, after there, we went directly to the city to just window shopping when suddenly without my expectation, I saw a scene I never thought I would see that day! My close friend's husband was with another woman and he hide maybe saw me first. I hardly recognized him at first but then I was really not hallucinating because it was really 'him'. I was so disappointed on him! I mean with all this chat about hiding the situation first, here comes him going out with his other woman into the open??? Gosh, I never been so disgusted that day! Then he wrote me asking not to make it worse for them by not telling. Screw you! I was angry because he still want my friend and kind of need my help but still continue doing and cheating and worser, into the public place? Until now, can't get over yet, I hope after writing this! I'm ranting here yes, this is one advantage, I can blog!

"Kannelbulle" day!

Here in Sweden, they have given a special day for a cinnamon bread (kannelbulle) which everyone, every family, every offices must eat cinnamon bread!

"Bulle" is swedish basic bread so to speak. I mean if Philippines, my home land has this famous 'pandesal', then kannelbulle is for Sweden. Offices offers this bread to their employees, parents buys this bread for their children or even home bake it during cinnamon bread day! A party eating bread!

Our gratitude on Erika's Party!

Oh what can I say? My little girl's party was a very successful one! Everyone knows it couldh've never be done, alone! I am indeed so grateful and proud to have family and friends whom in no doubt are always there with us to lend their hands even extends their pocket! In behalf of my husband and my kids, thank you so much Alice Mahusay, Lita Talingting Plenos, Joan Martinsson, Khim Dizon, Raine Hager, and Gloria Johansson for the foods you donated! Everyone enjoyed and satisfied and so thankful and said all were so delicious!

More thanks also to all that helps cleaning up and fixing the place, Alicia, Sarie, Gloria, Kim, Shirley and to all others that were willing to help in many ways that the party became a success! And of course to all that who came and celebrate with us! Thanks for the happy faces, for your presence, and for the amazing gifts you bestowed! We cannot thank for more! May my God will give back hundred times!

All these things I want to give back all the praises and thanksgiving to Him!

Busy long day!

Tomorrow will be my little girl's first birthday celebration and I hope it's gonna be fun and memorable! Families and friends will be there and so must prepare much foods and goddies!

So, today I starts preparing by doing candy bags and the springrolls, so far these are the ones finished in the moment! And then later, we have to go to the store and order the cake and will do groceries! We will start cooking some food tonight also and sweets! Exciting, hope everything will be fine! Goodluck to me:)

Card Expired!

I went to town to suppose send money and I think that's the only important reason I went with two children and raining. But then when everything was almost finished and the cashier asked my personal ID card, she gave it back to me and said; "You are expired" haha..she said ,I mean your card was expired just 2weeks ago, do you have your passport instead! Of course I have nothing with me.

Uh! that was annoying but in the other hand, I was thankful that it happened there so I know that I'm no longer safe these days:) Must have my passport with me all the time now but we have to go the bank to renew my Personal ID. WE really don't know what the day brings , so it's better to start our day with prayers! It always protects us in so many ways! Good day!

Fried Chicken with sauce!

How's your sunday everyone? Mine, was not so good. I wasn't able to go to the church because I got a bad headache. I thought I will have fever but I feel better now after I get some rest! Maybe aftermath after all that happened to me, I mean when I lost my bag and got it back:)

Well, its time to share something yummy once again and as for my entry, I'd like to share my simple dinner at home. Fried chicken file' with sauce and fresh veges salad then of course the undying rice:)

Nice place to live!

We have plans someday to stay in our province in Philippines where calmness and peace still there inspite of the chaotic life in the city or here and there when we get old. I mean when we will be pensioner. So, we began looking for a nice place that fits what we want with the help of my brother. And lucky enough, we found one during our last visit last year. We were thinking to buy a lot first even if we have no budget yet for a house. Anyway, lot can stay there and can wait:)

But then it makes me feel homesick when my brother sent us a picture of a nipa hut stood there with a little house for a place keeper (we hired somebody to watch over the place).

Our dream place to spend our old days:) Simple living but peaceful. With nature around, trees, farm, plants, farm animals, looking forward to that day when we can do many things on this place!

My brother built that nipa hut for him to rest and stay away from headaches from his work. Its like its his resthouse for the meantime! He said he plan to do business there like pig raising, chicken and the like! Whatever, for now all we can do is save for our house there someday! Godbless our plans!

Yummy Pie:)

I have been longing for a pie lately and I was happy when we attended my friend's birthday because she served an apple pie, so yummy! An apple that according to her she just got it direct from the tree at their own backyard. wow!

Trees fell down!

There are many trees around us here where we lived. Every pathways have trees lined up. And then today, we have a very stormy weather, the wind was so strong and one of those trees in our way fell down.

Everyday we walk down there when I drop and get my 4 years old girl from school but today it was kind of dangerous to be outside but still we went. When I was about to get my girl, just few minutes back before I passed that road, a tree fell down. I felt scared and my thoughts had many 'what ifs' . But then I know God will always protect us, thats why I we need to take time asking his protection every now and then! Because we never know what that day brings.

The Oldest lumber!

When we were in that biggest zoo here in Sweden, I found different kinds of animals that I haven't seen before. And I thought only animals would I see there but I also found this oldest and maybe the longest lumber in the world :) This tree is 41 m long and 195years old.
I find it amazing..just pondering about it today:)

HAVE A GREAT SUMMER!!!

I can feel that this is really summer time now. It's been sunny day with 23-26degrees celcius and so hot,hot,hot! Workers starts their summer vacation already and parks and outdoor places and hangouts are already 'on'. Bikes and bicycles and flip flops are in the streets already!

Yesterday we had time with my friends having picnic near the lake and hmm..I just got sunburn and my children too:) That's how warm it is! But life is good and become better and better when the weather is like this.

Yummy birthday foods!

Baby sitting a baby sitter?

This week has been very excited for me because I was taking care an eleven year old boy, my husband's nephew. From monday until yesterday he's been here with us. Yes, he suppose to be someone to attend to but no, he was the one helping me watching my youngs. He's so sweet and helpful and my days become lighter because of him. He's my childrens' cousin.

And then yesterday, my friends dropped by and we went to the lake near our place and had a little picnic then feed the birds and then a little walk around the place! We had fun exploring the nature!

And then today, we just visit Jenny's place since they'r about to visit philippines in two weeks. We should hang out first..heheh! Oh, good food and good chat once again! Then tomorrow will be another day..Midsummer! Good day Godbless!

Peacock - has been said a symbol of pride and beauty because of its construction and color. I took this when we visited the animal park last weekend , I waited when she'll opens her fur , for as we know it looks wonderful like a fan round and pretty. But unfortunately it didn't. Just a blick pose and that was all:)

Smörgås torta!

Sandwich cake is a famous main menu serve during special occassions like birthdays here in Sweden. We call it here "smörgås torta". Its already a complete meal instead of different kinds of food as we usually prepare on occassions. I don't like it at first but now that I learned to eat it..its actually yummy and nutritious!

I don't know how to do this but I've done once helping my mother-in-law and also for the purpose to know how but it's a little much work to do and expensive ..hehe if I don't make it right:) This is really yummy as it looks! have a blessed sunday everyone!

Week of fun!

How was your whole week everyone? Mine was great. I had time to talk with my family in pinas finally. Then I recieved good email that I've been waiting for, in connection to blogging and then a fun outing and get ways with my family.

The weather this week were so much better. Its already summer;) Since this week is short due to holidays, its really important to find something fun to do since this is not always. Beginning yesterday thursday our weekend starts already and it will end up on Monday, Swedish National Day. Long weekend,yes! Yesterday, as I posted at "Family Trips and Geeks", we went sailing and dock in in one island where the beauty of nature and a fresh air still there. We took a walk on forest, hills and across lakes and ponds. So good feeling, free and healthy.

Then today, we visited the biggest forest park here and done a good walk also together with my aunt and her husband. Many people grilling sunbathing and playing. Real summer:) And tomorrow we're looking forward of having a nice weather too because we'll go swimming:)
